Disclaimer
This disclaimer explains the scope of the information on this site and what to check when following a guide, changing a configuration, or purchasing Shadowrocket on the App Store.
1. Site Scope and Services
Shadowrocket Help Center is the official Shadowrocket site and guide. It provides guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing it, getting started, importing subscriptions, configuring rules, and troubleshooting. This disclaimer applies to the explanatory text, rule snippets, and instructions published on this site.
This site does not provide, sell, or recommend proxy servers or subscription services, and does not manage users’ servers. Instructions for importing and connecting assume that users already have their own subscription or server details. A one-time purchase of the client does not include a proxy service plan. Check the app purchase separately from any services you already use, including their fees, validity periods, and availability.
2. Accuracy and Interface Changes
The guides are based on the app interface and App Store information that could be verified when they were written. App updates, system changes, and device differences may affect where options appear, how they are labeled, or the order of steps. We update the guides as information is checked, but cannot guarantee that every instruction will match what appears on every device at all times.
When using the app, follow its current interface and system prompts. If a step differs from what you see, first confirm which screen you are on and what the option does; do not make a series of changes to settings you do not understand. Rule snippets illustrate syntax and matching logic. They are not complete configurations for every network environment and do not guarantee connection speed, stability, or specific request outcomes.
If something in a guide differs from what you see or you have questions, compare it with the steps and troubleshooting guidance in the tutorials. For rule explanations, see the configuration reference. Examples on this site are no substitute for checking your actual configuration and connection logs.
3. Configuration and User Responsibilities
Make sure you are authorized to use any imported subscription, server details, or configuration file, and follow applicable local laws and service terms. Before importing, replacing, or deleting anything, save configurations you still need and confirm which item you are changing. This guide does not verify the source or suitability of remote content on your behalf.
Keep subscription URLs, passwords, and other authentication details secure. Do not include them in public screenshots or support requests. After changing Global Routing, rule order, or On Demand, check the app’s logs and actual access results to confirm the effect. Issues caused by input errors, rule conflicts, changes to remote services, or network conditions must be investigated based on their specific cause; a guide snippet alone cannot identify the problem.
4. Purchase, Pricing, and Compatibility
Shadowrocket is a paid client for Apple platforms, primarily used on iPhone and iPad. It is available exclusively on the App Store. Before purchasing, verify the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the official app icon, and app ID 932747118. See the genuine app verification guide for the steps.
Check the App Store listing for current pricing, currency, taxes, system requirements, and compatibility. Information on this site is not a fixed quote or a guarantee of purchase eligibility. Redownloading a previous purchase, requesting a refund, and handling other transactions are subject to current App Store policies and account prompts. Buying the app does not restore an existing subscription, server credentials, or unsaved personal configurations.
5. External Links and Scope of This Disclaimer
Links to the App Store let you view product information and make a purchase. Once there, the store’s own rules apply to its page content, transaction process, and account services. This site does not control the store’s listings, service availability, or transaction outcomes. If information on the store page differs from this site, review the current store information before proceeding.
This disclaimer clarifies the limits of the information and instructions provided here. It does not exclude or limit any liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited, or affect any rights you have under the law. When this site updates its guidance, the month of the update will be shown on this page. When following a tutorial, also read the relevant prerequisites, notices, and verification steps.
